  • 2002: Organizor (with M. Nabighian) Workshop on Automated Depth Estimation Techniques in Potential-methods. The workshop was attended by over 50 potential-field specialists and students from United States, Australia, Canada, and United Kingdom.
  • 2000: Organizor (with M. Nabighian, P. Millegan, G. Hensel, E. Biegert) a Virtual Global Workshop on the Application of Wavelets in Potential Fields to introduce wavelet transforms and related algorithms to gravity and magnetic community. The workshop was broadcast through the internet to 11 remote sites in the United States, Australia, Canada, Finland, and United Kingdom, with over 100 attendants.
  • 2000: Co-taught (with D. Oldenburg) a special presentation short course “Inversion of DC resistivity, IP and magnetic data for mineral exploration” at the 70th Ann. Internat. Mtg., Soc. Expl. Geophys.
  • 1999: Co-developed the course materials for, and co-presented, “3D inversion of magnetic data”. A one-day workshop held by UBC-Geophysical Inversion Facility to disseminate modern inversion methodology and algorithms to mining and petroleum industries.
  • 1998: Co-developed the course materials for, and co-presented, “Inversion Workshop: Principles and applications to DC resistivity and IP data.” A one-day workshop held by UBC-Geophysical Inversion Facility to disseminate modern inversion methodology and algorithms to mining industry.
