Lauri Burke is currently a PhD candidate at the Colorado School of Mines department of geophysics. She graduated in 1999 with a B.S. degree in geophysics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Lauri has worked at Schlumberger(2005), at Chevron Texaco (2003), and at Aera Energy LLC (partnership between Shell and ExxonMobil) from 2000 to 2002.

Lauri's research interests are Acoustic Logging.
